The Chanticleers are coming off a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over the College of Charleston on Sunday afternoon. The Cougars tallied 13 shots in the first half alone and held Coastal to just two shots in the 45-minute period. Delaney Dawes' 28th-minute goal put the Cougars up on the road, as she rebounded a shot off the cross bar to find the back of the net.
CCU notched two unanswered goals as
Carleigh Frilles scored her first goal of the season in the 68th minute to tie the match at 1-all. Frilles connected on a cross from
Loranna Austin who received a pass from
Ella Schad. Both teams looked to convert but it was
Sarah Allen who tallied her second consecutive game-winner as her shot in the 88th minute hit the left post and bounced across to the back-right corner of the net.

- Jacksonville opened the 2021 season defeating South Carolina State 7-0 and have scored 16 goals so far this season, allowing just six from their opponents.
