CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's basketball team will travel to Arkansas for matchups against both Little Rock and Arkansas State this week, as the Chanticleers will first play the Trojans on Thursday, Jan. 13, in Little Rock, Ark., before visiting the Red Wolves, on Saturday, Jan. 15, in Jonesboro, Ark.
Coastal will look to continue its winning ways after earning wins over Georgia Southern (72-69) and Georgia State (75-51) last week. The Chants are 12-2 overall on the season and 2-1 in SBC play, while Little Rock is 5-5 on the year and have yet play a SBC matchup. The Red Wolves are currently 8-7 on the season and 1-1 in conference action.
The Chanticleers are 2-1 on the road this season, while the Trojans (4-1) and Arkansas State (6-2) are a combined 10-3 on their home courts on the year.
COASTAL vs. LITTLE ROCK HISTORY
Little Rock owns a commanding 6-1 advantage in the overall series, with all seven meetings coming as Sun Belt Conference foes. Coastal Carolina earning its lone win on the road in the 2019-20 season.
COASTAL vs. ARKANSAS STATE HISTORY
In a series that began in 2017 when the Chanticleers joined the Sun Belt Conference, Coastal Carolina holds a 4-3 record in the overall series with the Arkansas State Red Wolves, with A-State earning the victory in the two teams' last meeting during the 2019-20 season.

On the defensive end of the floor, Blount is the team's top rebounder having grabbed 126 on the season to average 9.0 boards per game, while

Janeen Camp has blocked 29 shots over the first 14 contests, as the Chants are allowing just 53.1 points per game and holding opponents to a 33.3 shooting percentage.
ABOUT LITTLE ROCK
Little Rock is averaging 57.1 points per game in the Trojans' first 10 games of the year while shooting 37.6 percent from the floor overall. The Trojans' offense is led by Sali Kourouma with 20.0 points per game while Raziya Potter is chipping in with 10.1 points per contest. Mayra Caicedo leads Little Rock with 46 assists, while Tia Harvey has aided teammates 16 times.
Defensively, the Trojans are allowing their opponents to shoot 39.9 percent from the field while allowing just 59.4 points per game. Angelique Francis and Krystan Vornes are the top rebounders grabbing 67 and 55 rebounds, respectively, while the duo of Dariel Johnson and Kourouma leads the team with 16 and 15 steals apiece.
ABOUT ARKANSAS STATE
The Red Wolves enter play averaging 80.3 points per game in their first 15 games of the year while hitting 42.8 percent of their shots. Arkansas State's offense is led by Keya Patton (13.6 ppg), Trinitee Jackson (12.2 ppg), Morgan Wallace (10.5 ppg), and Lauryn Pendleton (10.2 ppg), as the foursome are all averaging over 10.0 points per game this season.
Defensively, A-State is allowing its opponents to shoot 40.1 percent from the field and score 70.7 points per game. Jackson and Wallace lead the team with 8.6 and 7.5 rebounds per game, respectively, while the trio of Patton (23), Wallace (21), and Jireh Washington (20) lead the Red Wolves' defense with 20 or more steals apiece.
