CONWAY - Coastal Carolina women's basketball head coach
Kevin Pederson has announced the signing of Asia Patin for the 2026-2027 season.
"We are excited to welcome Asia Patin and her family to Coastal Carolina!" Pederson said. "Our staff has really focused on improving our point guard play during this recruiting cycle, and signing Asia is a big step in that direction. She scored over 2,400 points in high school and won four State Championships, so this girl knows how to win! In addition to her strong play on the court, you won't meet a nicer and more genuine young lady than Asia. She is an unselfish point guard and her teammates are going to love playing with her!"
Patin is a 5'7 point guard from Slaughter, La. and enters the program as a freshman. She closed out her career at Southern University Laboratory School by averaging 17.5 points, six assists, five steals, and four rebounds per game during her senior regular season. Patin totaled over 2,300 points and over 500 assists and steals during her high school career.
