CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina beach volleyball head coach Steve Loeswick has finalized the 2022 spring schedule for the Sandy Chants, which will host not one but two tournaments in the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 19-20 and the Carolina Challenge on April 8-9.
 
The Sandy Chants will open up the spring slate with back-to-back tournaments in Jacksonville, Fla. CCU will take part in the Dolphin Duels hosted by Jacksonville University on Feb. 25-26 before competing at the UNF Invitational held at the University of North Florida on March 4-5.
 
CCU will stay on the road for a one-day tournament at the Georgia State Day of Duals in Atlanta, Ga. on Wednesday, March 9, and then travel south to Charleston, S.C. for the CofC Classic on March 12-13, hosted by the College of Charleston.
 
The Chanticleers will host the first of two home tournaments with the Coastal Carolina Invitational the following weekend, March 19-20, before returning to the Sunshine State for the Stetson Beach Bash on March 26-27, held by Stetson University in DeLand, Fla.
 
Coach Loeswick's squad will wrap up the regular-season slate in the Palmetto State, as the Sandy Chants will host the Carolina Challenge in Conway on April 8-9. CCU will then play at the Palmetto Invitational, hosted by the University of South Carolina on April 15-16, and then host Georgia State in the regular-season finale at home on April 23.
 
Competing in the Conference USA for the first time this season, the Chants will take part in the 2022 C-USA Beach Volleyball Championship in Huntsville, Ala., on April 28-30. The conference tournament will include all seven conference members in CCU, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Southern Miss, UAB, Georgia State, and ULM.
