CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will be back on the road to face Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga., on Sunday at noon ET at Eagle Field.
COASTAL VS. GEORGIA SOUTHERN
These teams have met 15 times on the pitch dating back to 2004. CCU holds an 8-5-2 record in the overall series and are 6-3 versus the Eagles since joining the Sun Belt Conference.
LAST TIME OUT
CCU fell in a road contest at Old Dominion by a score of 4-0. The Monarchs scored two goals in each half while holding the Chants scoreless. The loss dropped CCU to 2-8-3 overall and 1-4-1 in conference play.

- Georgia Southern enters Sunday's action tied for second in the SBC East Division with 11 points.
- The Eagles are coming off back-to-back shutout wins at Marshall (2-0) and at home to Appalachian State (2-0).
- Georgia Southern is 3-1-2 in its last six outings and enters the match at 4-3-5 overall and 3-1-2 in conference action.
- Elis Nemtsov leads GS in scoring with nine points on four goals and one assist. Emma Armstrong has five points on two goals and an assist.
