Santos Picks Up Weekly Men's Soccer Honor

NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina sophomore forward Noe Santos has been named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, the league announced on Thursday afternoon.

The honor marks the first conference weekly award for Santos as he helped lead the Chants to a 4-1 victory over Georgia Southern in the regular-season finale. Santos scored two goals within 21 seconds of each other to give the Chants a 2-0 lead.

Santos finished the regular season second on the team with 11 points. His four goals on the season are tied for second on the team, while his three assists are third.

Santos and the Chants will face No. four-seeded West Virginia in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Championship on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. ET.
