Chanticleers to Clash With Bucs

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will face off against another Palmetto State school, this time on the road against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at noon ET on Wednesday, Feb. 16.

There's quite a bit of history between the two sides, as the programs have met 36 times on the court. The Chanticleers have tallied 24 victories in a series that dates back to 1981. CCU won the last contest on Feb. 21, 2021, by a 6-1 margin. The Chants and Bucs have split the last 10 meetings.

This also marks consecutive contests for the Chants against a former Big South opponent. Last time out, Coastal Carolina defeated fellow in-state school Presbyterian College 4-3 on Friday, Feb. 11.
