Women's Tennis to Host Pirates on Saturday

CCU returns home for two matches in five days
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will begin a two-game homestand at the Stevens Tennis Complex with a non-conference tilt against East Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 19. Start time is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.
Both clubs enter the contest with a 2-2 record on their respective ledgers. The visiting Pirates picked up a 6-1 win over UNC Greensboro this past Sunday (Feb. 13), while the Chants last played on Feb. 11 and notched a 4-3 victory over Presbyterian.
Coastal Carolina holds an 8-6 lead in the series, which goes back to 2005. In their previous meeting, the Chanticleers defeated the Pirates 4-1 on March 7, 2020. Over the past 10 matchups, the Chants have emerged victorious on six occasions.
