Chants welcome tough 17-team field

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team will be back in action when the Chants play host to the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate, March 28-30, at the True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.

The Blue True Golf Club is laid out over 6,800 yards and is scored as a par-72. The invitational will feature 54 holes over the three days with 18 holes played each day.

The field will include Sun Belt rivals Appalachian State and South Alabama and future Sun Belt member, Marshall, among the 17 teams. The other programs joining CCU in the event will be Charleston Southern, Evansville, Gardner-Webb, Incarnate Word, Jacksonville, Marshall, Missouri, Morehead State, North Dakota State, Ohio, SMU, South Alabama, St. Thomas, UNCA, and UNCG.

There will also be a men's side in the event featuring Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Jacksonville State, Marshall, North Dakota State, Ohio, St. Thomas, and Xvier.

Head coach Katie Quinney has set the lineup with Caitlin Evans-Brand, Sophia Carlsen, Tiffany Arafi, Jenjira Jinangkul, and Sara Sarrion. Maika Llarena and Isabella Spinazze will play as individuals.
