Men's Golf Continues West Trip at Desert Mountain Intercollegiate

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's golf team continues its trip out west when the Chants will tee-off at the 2022 Desert Mountain Intercollegiate running March 5-6 at the Desert Mountain Outlaw Course in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The University of Michigan will host the two-day event which consists of 54 holes, 36 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday. The Desert Mountain Outlaw Course is a par-72, 7,107 yards layout.
Fellow Sun Belt Conference members Little Rock, Arkansas State, and ULM are among the 15-team field. Also joining CCU and Michigan in the tournament will be Grand Canyon, Lipscomb, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Santa Clara, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, and UTEP.
Head Coach Jim Garren has set up a Chanticleer lineup in Tyler Gray, Seth Taylor, Connor Newton, Garrett Cooper, and Trey Crenshaw, while Luke Nelson will play as an individual.
