Women's Golf to Begin Season at Jennifer Duke Invitational

Chants return six golfers from last season
CONWAY – Coastal Carolina University women's golf coach Katie Quinney will begin her 15th season at the helm of the Chanticleers program when her team will tee off at the Jennifer Duke Invitational set for Sept. 12-13 at the Losantiville Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A trio of All-Sun Belt performers return to lead an experienced team into the season led by graduate student Tiffany Arafi. Fellow all-conference performers Sophia Carlsen and Sara Sarrion will also make the trip to Cincinnati. Sophomore Isabella Spinazze and newcomer Luisa Gibson will round out the Coastal lineup for the opening event.
The two-day, 54-hole event, hosted by Cincinnati, will consist of 36 holes on the Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday on the par-71, 6,705-yard layout.
The Chants will join eight other teams in the event. Along with host Cincinnati, Marshall, Xavier, Western Kentucky, Western Carolina, Akron, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, and Dayton will be a part of the field.
