Women's Golf Back in Action at the Lady Paladin Invitational

Chants finished fourth in the event last season
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team will be back in action when the Chanticleers tee off at the annual Lady Paladin Invitational set for Sept. 23-25 at the Furman University Golf Club hosted by the Furman Paladins.
The Chanticleers will be looking to build on their solid third-place finish at the season-opening Jennifer Duke Invitational last week. CCU regularly participates in the in-state invitational and had a solid fourth-place finish in the event last season, finishing only one shot out of second.
The three-day, 54-hole invite features 18 holes of play on each of the three days on the par-72, 6,256 yards layout.
Head coach Katie Quinney will have Tiffany Arafi, Sophia Carlsen, Luisa Gibson, Isabella Spinazze, and Sara Sarrion making the trip to Greenville, S.C.
The Chants and host Furman will join 16 other teams in the event. The highly-competitive field will include fellow Sun Belt members Georgia State, Old Dominion, and James Madison, along with Augusta, Memphis, Western Kentucky, UNCW, North Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Tulane, Richmond, Florida Atlantic, Stetson, Minnesota, South Florida, and Daytona State College.
