CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team is set to continue its homestand this weekend when it hosts the CCU Battle at the Beach at the Stevens Tennis Complex starting on Friday, Oct. 13, and concluding on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Coastal will welcome College of Charleston, Charleston Southern, and Wofford to the Stevens Tennis Complex for this weekend's tournament. Charlotte will also be sending two individual participants.
This will mark the first time the women's team has hosted the Battle at the Beach since the 2017-18 season when they faced UNC Wilmington, Campbell, and UNC Greensboro, recording a 23-7 record between singles and doubles play.
Last time out, the Lady Chants hosted the Lynn Stevens Memorial Invitational on September 29-30 against Appalachian State, Queens, and Wofford, going 18-13 on the weekend. Senior
Jesse Hollins continued her strong start to the season with an unbeaten tournament run, improving her overall record to 10-2.

The CCU Battle at the Beach will begin tomorrow morning, with Coastal opening in doubles play starting at 12 p.m. ET.
