CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team will put its undefeated road record on the line this Friday afternoon, as the Chanticleers will face off with the UNCG Spartans in non-conference action in Greensboro, N.C. The first serve is set for 2 p.m. ET.
The Chanticleers are 5-2 overall on the season, including a perfect 4-0 on the road. However, the Chants are 0-2 versus schools from the state of North Carolina this season, with losses to UNCW and Campbell.
The Spartans are 1-5 on the season, with the lone win coming at home over Longwood back on Jan. 20.
Both teams will be looking to bounce back from a 7-0 loss their last time out, as CCU fell at home to Campbell on Wednesday, while the Spartans were blanked by Presbyterian one week ago.
Coastal enters the matchup having won each of its last three matches with UNCG, including a 6-1 victory at home at the Stevens Tennis Complex last season.
