Women's Golf Begins Spring Season at Rivertowne Invitational

Chants looking for a strong start to the spring season
CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team will begin the spring portion of the 2022-23 schedule at the Rivertowne Invitational set for Feb. 26-28 at the Rivertowne Country Club in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Sara Sarrion will be the most experienced Chanticleer heading into the Rivertowne Invitational. Luisa Gibson and Isabella Spinazze played in the fall for the Chants, while Clare Gimpel and Isabella Galla will be making their first appearance as a Chanticleers.
The three-day, 54-hole event, hosted by Charleston Southern, will consist of 18 holes on each of the three days of competition.
The Chants and host Buccaneers will join 17 other teams in the event. Also, in the field are Boston College, Elon, Fairleigh Dickinson, High Point, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Longwood, Morehead State, North Alabama, Richmond, Seton Hall, The Citadel, Tulane, UNCA, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, and Winthrop.
