CONWAY, S.C. – As part of the 16th annual "Step Up to the Plate" kickoff dinner Thursday, Feb. 9, from 6-9 p.m. ET at the Chesapeake House in Myrtle Beach, the Coastal Carolina baseball program is holding an online auction with all proceeds going directly to benefit the Grand Strand Miracle Leagues and the Mike Pruitt Scholarship Fund.
The baseball program has been involved with the Grand Strand Miracle Leagues for nearly 20 years, helping the athletes during the games with hitting, pitching, fielding, and coaching.
Items for auction this year include several amazing vacations, sports memorabilia and artwork, golf outings, dinners, and overnight stays, as well as official Coastal Baseball apparel and gear that you cannot get anywhere else.

About the Grand Strand Miracle League & Mike Pruitt Scholarship Fund
During the past 16 years, our players and coaches have devoted a great deal of time to the Grand Strand Miracle League, a baseball league for individuals with special needs. We also support the work of the Mike Pruitt Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for underprivileged kids ages 8-12 to attend the CCU Youth Baseball Camp. The funds from this auction will greatly benefit the children involved. When we act together as the CCU baseball community, our efforts can make a real difference.
