Women’s Tennis to Host Doubleheader on Sunday

Chanticleers will take on both Longwood and UNCG in the twin tilt
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will host a doubleheader on Sunday, March 5, as the Chanticleers will take on Longwood at 11 a.m. ET and then turn around to host UNCG at 3 p.m. ET at the Stevens Tennis Complex in Conway, S.C.

The Chanticleers are 2-4 overall this season but are coming off back-to-back wins on the road at Presbyterian (7-0) and Campbell (6-1) two weeks ago.

Five different Chants enter the doubleheader having won each of their last two singles matches in Anna Babayan, Tatum Burger, Victoire De Samucewicz, Jesse Hollins, and Megan Hopton.

Longwood, who will play at UNCW on Saturday, March 4, enters the weekend at 3-5 overall on the season and has won three of its last four matches.

UNCG heads to Conway with a 3-9 overall record and has lost each of its last three contests after sweeping Radford 7-0 back on Feb. 9.
