Chants will host UNCW in a dual match
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's golf team will continue its spring schedule when the Chanticleers host the UNCW Seahawks in a dual match on Thursday, March 9, at 1:20 p.m. ET at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
Â
The Chants have started a challenging spring schedule with consecutive fifth-place finishes at both The Hayt and at the Border Olympics, while UNCW finished third at the Battle of Briar's Creek, has a 14th-place finish at the John Burns Intercollegiate, and a 15th-place finish at the Auburn Intercollegiate.
Â
After consecutive top-five finishes to open the spring season, head coach Jacob Wilner has set the Chanticleer lineup with Seth Taylor, Trey Crenshaw, Garrett Cooper, Owen Kim, and Connor Newton. Alex van Wyk will play as an individual in the event.
Â
"We are looking forward to getting some competition in preparation for The General Hackler Championship," Wilner said. "UNCW has a good team and we are excited to host them."
