CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team prepares for the beginning of the 2024 spring season, as the Chants take on the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia, S.C. tomorrow afternoon from the Carolina Indoor Tennis Center.
CCU ended its 2023 fall schedule at the Jimmy Powell Invitational on the campus of Elon University, where junior Nicole Abel claimed sole possession of the singles title and junior Anna Babayan and senior Jesse Hollins secured a share of the doubles title along with UConn's Olivia Wright and Victoria Matos.
This spring, joining Abel, Babayan and Hollins, seniors Kata Foldeak, Katya Hersh, Cecile Morin and Isabella Weatherhead and freshman Aida Maria Mitrache and Brooke Rogers return to the Coastal lineup to face the Gamecocks.
Tomorrow's match vs. South Carolina begins at 12 P.M. ET, starting with doubles play.
