CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team will travel to James Madison to face the Dukes in Harrisonburg, Va., on Oct. 18–19. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

SERIES BETWEEN COASTAL AND JMU
Coastal Carolina is 4-4 versus the James Madison Dukes with the first meeting taking place in Harrisonburg, Va., in 1991. The Dukes won 3-0. The Chants own a three-match winning streak with all three wins coming in the 2023 season.
ABOUT COASTAL CAROLINA
The Chanticleers enter the weekend at 8-9 overall and 4-2 in Sun Belt action after knocking off Georgia State last weekend to extend a 21-match winning streak versus the Panthers.
Jalyn Stout has recorded nine triple-doubles on the year and 23 for her career.
CCU is led by Stout, who has 199 kills, 299 assists, and 201 digs to average a triple-double.

Emily Fowler,
Lauren Malone, and
Dilara Unal aid in the offensive attack with 147, 121, 100, and 63 kills, respectively.
Cagla Bengi is second on the team with 283 assists.
Defensively, Unal leads the team with 61 blocks and
Valentina Varani has stopped 38 kills at the net.
Sydney Lewis's 204 digs have helped put the offense back in attack mode.
ABOUT JAMES MADISON
James Madison enters play with an 8-8 overall record and a 3-3 record in conference play, having won its last three league games.
Brenya Reid, Annie Smith, Miette Veldman, Sarah Schnell, and Olivia Vance lead the JMU attack with 138, 123, 111, 104, and 101 kills, respectively. Jordan Smart leads the team with 252 assists while Rebecca Watkins has added 244 helpers. Jaydyn Clemmer has 20 service aces to pace the team.
Clemmer (259) and Julia McNeley (108) have a combined 367 digs to get the attack started while Smith (70), Schnell (52), and Ayen Nhial (51) have each stopped at least 50 kill attempts with Melisa Ilter (45), Savanah Cockrill (28), Vance (16), Veldman (15), and Reid (10) adding double-digit blocks.
