Gough Named to National Team of the Week

CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina men's soccer goalkeeper Harrison Gough was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Men's Soccer National Team of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
This marks the first time the Chants have had National Team of the Week selection since Marcello Jones in November 2020.
Gough has made an immediate impact for the Chants late in the season. He made his debut in Teal and Bronze on Oct. 8 when he kept his first clean sheet versus the Campbell Fighting Camels.
The sophomore recorded two more shutouts versus No. 8 James Madison on Oct. 12 and against No. 3 Marshall on Oct. 18.
This past week, the Tsawwassen, Canada, native recorded a career-high nine saves of 22 shots faced to secure at 0-0 tie versus the No. 3-ranked Thundering Herd.
The Chanticleers will return to action on Oct. 23 to take on Old Dominion at the CCU Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. ET.
