CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team will travel to Boone, N.C., to face the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Oct. 24–25. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

SERIES BETWEEN COASTAL AND APPALACHIAN STATE
Coastal Carolina is 20-5 versus the Mountaineers with the first meeting taking place in Boone, N.C., in 1988. App State won 3-2. The Chants own a 13-match winning streak dating back to the 2019 season.
ABOUT COASTAL CAROLINA
The Chanticleers enter the weekend at 8-11 overall and 4-4 in Sun Belt action after falling to James Madison last weekend.
Jalyn Stout has recorded 11 triple-doubles on the year and 25 for her career.
CCU is led by Stout, who has 232 kills, 342 assists, and 226 digs to average a triple-double.

Emily Fowler,
Lauren Malone, and
Emma Van Elslande aid in the offensive attack with 174, 139, 112, and 73 kills, respectively.
Cagla Bengi is second on the team with 329 assists.
Defensively,
Dilara Unal leads the team with 67 blocks while
Valentina Varani has stopped 44 kills at the net.
Sydney Lewis's 233 digs have helped put the offense back in attack mode.
ABOUT APPALACHIAN STATE
Appalachian State enters play with an 10-7 overall record and a 4-2 record in conference play, having split a pair of matches with Georgia Southern last week.
Maya Winterhoff, Lulu Ambrose, Elise Marchal, Ava Leahy, and Maddie Smith lead the Mountaineer attack with 190, 170, 149, 125, and 107 kills, respectively. Addison Heidemann leads the team with 431 assists while Julianna Horta has added 245 helpers. Marchal has 17 service aces to pace the team.
Kenady roper (200), Marchal (161), and Heidemann (131) have a combined 492 digs to get the attack started while Winterhoff (70), Leahy (44), and Marchal (41) have each stopped at least 40 kill attempts with Ambrose (29), Bella Hutchens (15), and Smith (10) adding double-digit blocks.
