CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will welcome the Troy Trojans for Senior Day at the CCU Soccer Complex on Oct. 27. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.

Chant Talk

• The Chants have a 7-4-6, 3-1-4 Sun Belt record on the season.
• Coastal is on a two-match win streak after recording back-to-back shutouts versus ULM and Marshall.
• Freshman Olivia Goretski and junior Julia Ziegenfuss each netted their second goals of the season versus ULM last time out.
• Coastal has recorded six clean sheets this season. 
• The Chants are undefeated when scoring two or more goals, posting a 4-0-2 record.
• Eefje Botjer leads the team in playing time with 1,325 minutes. The freshman has played the full 90 minutes in CCU's last four matches.
• This is the first time since 2016 that Coastal has scored in 10 consecutive matches.

Last Time Out

• The Chants shut out the ULM Warhawks, 2-0.
• Goretski gave the Chants the lead in the 32nd minute when she dribbled around the keeper to score in an open goal to make the score 1-0.
• CCU was outshot 5-3 in the first frame but led 2-1 in corner kicks.
• Ziegenfuss doubled Coastal's lead in the 63rd minute when she belted the ball into the top left corner off an assist from Jessica Wheeler to put the Chants up 2-0.
• Freshman keeper Aris Lamanna kept her second clean sheet of the season, recording five saves in the outing.
• CCU had three players in Carmen Gutierrez, Botjer and Lamanna play the full 90 minutes.

Scouting the Opponent

• Troy owns a 4-9-2, 0-7-1 record on the season.
• The Trojans are sitting on a six-match losing streak.
• Delaney Wells leads the offense in scoring with three goals on the season while Danielle Trovato tops the team with four assists.
• The Trojans sit in last place in the Sun Belt Conference standings.

History Against

• Coastal has a 5-2-1 record versus Troy.
• The Chants battled to a 2-2 tie with the Trojans last time out in October. 2023, with Ziegenfuss scoring the first goal in the match.
• The first match up was in October 2016 when the Chants recorded a 2-0 shutout win to kickstart a five-match win streak.
