CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina women's basketball will take on the Union Commonwealth Bulldogs on Friday evening in Conway, S.C. The opening tip is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET at the HTC Center. Fans can catch the action on ESPN+ or HANK 105.5 FM radio.

This is the first ever meeting between the two programs.

Coastal Carolina picked up its third win of the season with a 69-62 comeback victory over the UNCG Spartans last Wednesday evening.
Mallory Bruce led the Chants with 16 points, while
Kristin Williams added 10 points, respectively. CCU has won three straight games to begin the season for the first time since the 2021-22 season, and the for the first time under third year head coach
Kevin Pederson.
The offense is led by Williams with 13.3 points per game, while
Savannah Brooks (12.0) and Bruce (10.3) are averaging in double figures.
Jayden Marable and Brooks lead the team in assists with 11 and 10, respectively.
Defensively, the Chanticleers forced 72 turnovers on the young season, Brooks leads the team with seven steals with Marable swiping the ball five times.
Riley Stack leads the team with 6.3 rebounds per game and has blocked eight shots early this year.
ABOUT UNION COMMONWEALTH
The Union Commonwealth Bulldogs are 2-1, having won its last two outings after dropping the season's opening contest.
The Bulldogs are led by Madison Brady with 19.0 points per game, with Rachel Smith (12.0), McKenzi Himes (10.7) and Gracie Jervis (10.0) averaging double figures. Brady and Smith lead the team with a 4.3 assist per game average.
On the defensive side, Union Commonwealth is forcing over 17 turnovers per game while outrebounding their opponents 42.3-27.0. Brady is averaging a double-double with a 10.0 rebound per game average, while Himes and Lindsey Pirkle are grabbing rebounds at a 5.7 rebounds per contest clip.
