Laughlin, Groves leads Chants at NCAA Southeast Regional

Rock Hill, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's and women's cross-country teams competed in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet today in Rock Hill, S.C., hosted by Winthrop at the Winthrop Farm Course.
Molly Jones, a 2024 All-Sun Belt runner, led the Chanticleers in the women's 6k run finishing 103rd with a time of 22:36.7, while Jenna Lang finished 159th in 23:35.5. Amilia Wise-Sweat finished 169th in a time of 23:45.7.
Other runners in the 6k were Olivia Goeser who finished 207th with a time of 24:41.4, Erin McQuitty finished 212th with a 24:51.7, and Bethany Thompson was 223rd in a time of 25:08.9.
In the men's race, another Coastal All-Sun Belt performer led CCU as Adam Groves placed 142nd in the 10k event in a time of 33:05.8. Sterling Sellier finished 162nd in 33:35.8, while Dylan Payer finished 202nd with a time of 34:53.5.
