CONWAY, S.C. – The No. 4 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will meet the Southern Miss Golden Eagles on Nov. 21, in Foley, Ala., in the first round of the Sun Belt Volleyball Championship Tournament. The first serve will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, with all Sun Belt Volleyball Championship matches being streamed on ESPN+.

SERIES BETWEEN COASTAL AND SOUTHERN MISS
Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss will be meeting for the first time in the history of both programs.
ABOUT COASTAL CAROLINA
The Chanticleers enter the SBC tournament at 12-16 overall and the No. 4 East Division seed. Coastal split a pair of regular season matches with South Alabama to wrap up the regular season.
CCU is led by
Jalyn Stout, who has 361 kills, 536 assists, and 363 digs to average a triple-double.
Agata Lesiak,
Emily Fowler,
Lauren Malone, and
Emma Van Elslande aid the offensive attack with 270, 234, 183, and 127 kills, respectively.
Cagla Bengi is second on the team with 356 assists, while
Ava Wallis has 161 helpers.
Defensively,
Dilara Unal leads the team with 101 blocks, while Lesiak (66) and
Valentina Varani (54) have combined for 120 stops at the net.
Sydney Lewis's 409 digs have helped put the offense back in attack mode.
ABOUT SOUTHERN MISS
The Southern Miss Golden Eagles enter play with a 9-19 overall record and currently owns a six-match losing streak after falling twice at Marshall last weekend.
Sadie McAda, Aysu Dalogullari, and Torrey Tkach lead the Eagles' attack with 359, 308, and 205 kills, respectively, while Izzy Kronenberg (149) has triple-digit kills. Franky Panunzio leads the team with 635 assists with Hayden Riddle adding 412 helpers.
Tkach (135), Madison Baldridge (73), and McAda (56) have stopped 55 or more kill attempts with Panunzio and Kronenberg adding 48 and 43 blocks, respectively. Sunni Sheppard has 557 digs to get the offense started, while McAda (364), Dalogullari (239), and Panunzio (157) have triple-digit digs.
