Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Season with CCU Battle at the Beach

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will conclude the 2024 fall season with the CCU Battle at the Beach at the Steven Tennis Complex on Nov. 8-9.
The Chanticleers will host UNCW, Queens, and UNCG for the two-day event in Conway, S.C.
Aida Maria Mitrache won the NCCU invitational in Durham, N.C. The junior won four matches, defeating Meiri Okuwaki of Hampton University to claim the title. The Coastal pairing of Brooke Rogers and Katya Hersh also had a successful week, reaching the final, but fell just short to a duo from UNCW.
Nicole Abel, Brunelle Kouam, Anna Babayan, and Paula Cebrer competed at the ITA Carolina Regionals in Chapel Hill, N.C. Babayan led the team, reaching the consolation singles quarterfinals.
Play is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday and 9 a.m. ET on Saturday.
