NEW ORLEANS ---- Coastal Carolina football had six players garner All-Sun Belt Conference distinction from the league's 14 head coaches for their 2024 performances, the SBC office announced Thursday.
 
Matthew McDoom and Clev Lubin were both named to the All-Sun Belt First Team Defense while Nick Del Grande, Braydon Bennett, Shane Bruce and Juan Powell were recognized as All-Sun Belt Honorable Mentions. 
 
For McDoom, this marked his first All-SBC honor while Del Grande received honorable mention recognition for the second consecutive season.
 
The Chanticleers finished the regular season 6-6 (3-5 Sun Belt) after winning two of its final four games down the stretch.
