CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina's road trip swings through the Peach State on Thursday as the Chanticleers head to Georgia State. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.


LAST TIME OUT
Coastal Carolina led after the first quarter but could not keep pace with James Madison as the Chanticleers fell 73-60 on Saturday afternoon. Makaila Cange and Alancia Ramsey each scored 18 points and Ramsey led the Chants with nine rebounds. Riley Stack tallied a career-high six blocks and a career-high four assists. Arin Freeman added 13 points on the day.
 
HISTORY BETWEEN COASTAL AND GEORGIA STATE
Coastal Carolina and Georgia State are meeting for the 17th time. Coastal currently leads the overall series 11-5 and has won each of the last four meetings.

ABOUT COASTAL
The Chanticleers enter Wednesday's game with an 8-19 overall record and a 2-12 record in Sun Belt play. The Chants rank 11th nationally and lead the Sun Belt Conference with 23.0 free-throw attempts per game. Coastal also averages 14.9 offensive rebounds per game, which ranks fourth in the conference and 17th in the nation. The Chanticleers are second in the league with 3.6 blocks and 14.7 made free throws per contest.
 
Stack, the first Coastal freshman with three consecutive games with at least five blocks in the last 20 seasons, leads the league with 47 total blocks and 1.7 blocks per game. Cange ranks second in the Sun Belt with nine double-doubles this season, averaging 12.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per outing.
 
ABOUT GEORGIA STATE
Georgia State is 15-10 overall and owns a 9-5 record in league play. The Panthers' bench averages 24.3 points per game and Georgia State enters Thursday having won each of its last four games at home. 
 
Mikyla Tolivert leads the Panthers with 14.3 points per game, including 30 made three-pointers, and 45 steals this season. Alyssa Phillip averages a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game, while Crystal Henderson enters the game with 4.2 assists per contest.
