DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team recorded its third sweep in its last four outings today on the road against the Davidson Wildcats at the Davidson University Tennis Courts. 

Seniors Carlos Berna Ruiz and Lucas Wayenburg continued to lead the way in doubles with another win this afternoon, defeating the Wildcats' Alejandro Solares and Juan Camilo Prez Gongora 7-6 along with a five-point tiebreaker. Ryuya Ata and Eric Tripathi also added to their doubles win total on the season, bumping their tally to three in as many appearances as a pairing. 

The Chants continued their dominance into singles play, taking the opening three matches, resulting in a 4-0 sweep. Berna Ruiz, Wayenburg and Jesus Garcia each defeated their Wildcat opposition in straight sets, with Garcia winning by a four-point tiebreaker. 

Following the win over Davidson, the Chants will continue their four-match road trip on Tuesday, Mar. 5, as they begin Sun Belt Conference play in Hattiesburg, Miss. in a meeting with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles starting at 2 P.M. ET.
