MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's and women's outdoor track and field teams wrapped competition in their final home meet of the 2024 season with day three of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Mrytle Beach, S.C.
Over the three-day meet, the Chants recorded 12 top-place finishes. Among those top finishes were two from Zionna Perez-Tucker, Brendan Kovar, Amanda Kinloch, Trey Kraimer, Addison Laughlin, Adam Groves, Nehemiah Cionelo, Camryn Lorick, Mikayla Pardun, as well as the women's 4x100m and men's 4x200m relay teams.
Coastal also finished with a season-high 39 top-10 placements for the invitational, beating out in-state rival South Carolina atop the leaderboard with 139.5 total points across 23 scored events.
Next up for CCU is a return to Columbia, S.C. for the Weems Baskin Invitational on Mar. 22-23 at the Creeger Track on the campus of the University of South Carolina.
