About Coastal

The Chants are coming off a 15-3 win over the Manhattan Jaspers on Mar. 14 in the first game of their current four-game homestand. Senior Maddie Bates and Monica Manley led the way in scoring with three goals each. With her three-goal performance against Manhattan, Bates has already eclipsed her career-high for a season goal tally with 13 thus far this season. Top goalscorer and senior forward Sydney McClure added another goal to her season tally, moving her total to 18, while also adding a season-high five assists.

On the defensive end, goalkeeper Charlotte Sadler, in her first year as a starter, has recorded 71 saves through the first eight games of the season. Sadler is averaging just shy of nine saves per contest, which ranks 31st in the country.

Coastal is currently 4-4 on the season with just over a week until the ASUN Conference opener against Lindenwood on Mar. 30.
