CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University head men's basketball coach Justin Gray has announced Joshua Meo as the Chanticleers third signee in this signing period.
 
Joshua Meo: Orlando, Fla. (Mineral Area College/St. Petersburg College)
Meo transfers to Coastal from Mineral Area College where he averaged 14.2 points per game over his 32 games played last season. He also averaged 4.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting over 42 percent from the field and over 36 percent on his three-point attempts. Meo was also solid at the free throw line where he shot 71 percent on his charity tosses.
 
Standing 6'-5", he played his freshman season at St. Petersburg College. He played in 29 games and averaged 16.2 points per game, while once again, shooting over 40 percent from the field and over 34 percent on his three-point field goals.
 
Meo played at Olympia High School in Orlando, Fla., where he averaged over 10 points and four rebounds per game his senior season. He added 49 assists and 26 steals in the 27 games he played in.
