will meet No. 10 seed Georgia State in the first round of the 2024 Guardian Credit Union Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship presented by Troy University with the first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ or fans can listen live on HANK 105.5.

ABOUT THE CHANTS
• Coastal Carolina enters the week 33-21 on the year and 16-14 in Sun Belt play, won five of the last six games played.

Cameron Flukey is 3-2 on the year with 17 appearances and nine starts. Flukey has an ERA of 5.92 having given up 34 runs on 46 hits while striking out a team-high 76 batters.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
• Georgia State enters play at 25-31 overall and 13-17 in league play.
• The Panther pitching staff has allowed 84 home runs and has struck out 461 opposing batters and issued 437 free bases. Batters are hitting .290 against GSU.
• Aidan McEvoy (3-2) has made 18 appearances and no starts on the year. McEvoy has allowed 26 runs on 25 hits while striking out 31 batters for a 7.46 ERA. He pitched 3.2 innings on May 12 in Conway, S.C., allowing one run on two hits with five strikeouts.
• Georgia State is hitting .284 and have belted 104 home runs, eight triples, and 111 doubles for 428 runs.
• Will Mize (.350) and Brennan Hudson (.326) are the only GSU hitters hitting over .320. Mize has hit 17 home runs, one triple, and 18 doubles for 60 RBIs, while Hudson has blasted 12 home runs and four doubles and driven in 32 runs.
ALL-TIME SERIES HISTORY WITH GEORGIA STATE
• The Chanticleers lead the overall series at 15-7 with Georgia State, with Coastal winning six of the last seven games.
• CCU is 4-5 at home versus GSU, while going 10-2 on the road and 1-0 at neutral site venues.
• Coastal won the series in 2024 2-1 with by outscoring the Panthers 43-30, before this season the Chants won the last four meetings, including sweeping the 2023 regular season series and winning in the first round of the SBC tournament.
• The Chants and Panthers first met in Atlanta, Ga., in March 2017 when Coastal joined the Sun Belt. The Chanticleers swept the series.
