CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 
will wrap up their 2024 Sun Belt Conference home schedule with the Georgia State Panthers at Springs Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C., Friday through Sunday, May 10-12, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Friday, 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, and 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The games will be streamed on ESPN+ or fans can listen live on WRNN 99.5 Hot Talk.

ABOUT THE CHANTS
• Coastal Carolina enters the week 28-20 on the year and 11-13 in Sun Belt play, having dropped its last eight games.
• Coastal has hit 66 home runs on the season with 
Blake Barthol and 
Zack Beach tied for the team lead and seventh in the SBC with 14 bombs while 
Graham Brown has added 11 blasts.
• 
Sam Antonacci gets the team started with a .381 batting average, and has been walked (43) and hit-by-a-pitch (21) a combined 64 times at the top of the lineup. He has reached base safely at least once in 47 of the 48 games played this season for a team-high .544 on-base percentage.
• Defensively, the Chanticleers are seventh in the NCAA and lead the Sun Belt Conference with 48 double plays turned.
• The Coastal Carolina pitching staff has allowed 80 home runs and 304 runs while striking out 405 batters.
• Eikhoff has made 12 starts on the season. He is 5-1 on the year and allowed 36 runs on 72 hits with 41 strikeouts and just nine walks.
• Freshman 
Cameron Flukey is 2-2 on the year with 15 appearances and seven starts. Flukey has an ERA of 6.05 having given up 27 runs on 37 hits while striking out a team-high 60 batters.
 
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
• Georgia State enters play at 23-26 overall and tied with CCU at 11-13 in league play.
• The Panther pitching staff has allowed 63 home runs and has struck out 406 opposing batters and issued 371 free bases. Batters are hitting .281 against GSU.
• The Panther's Rob Evans anchors the pitching staff with a 3-2 record with a 5.63 ERA. Evans has started 11 of the 12 games he has appeared, while allowing 33 runs and a .267 batting average.
• Kameron Douglas (0-2) and Sam Schofield (2-2) have started two and four games, respectively. Douglas has thrown 10.0 innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits with seven strikeouts, while Schofield has allowed 26 runs on 33 hits while striking out 23 batters over 27.2 innings.
• Georgia State is hitting .283 and have belted 83 home runs, seven triples, and 97 doubles for 345 RBIs.
• Will Mize (.344) and Brennan Hudson (.324) are the only GSU hitters hitting over .315. Mize has hit 13 home runs, one triple, and 16 doubles for 51 RBIs, while Hudson has blasted nine home runs and three doubles and driven in 25 runs.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES HISTORY WITH GEORGIA STATE
• The Chanticleers lead the overall series at 13-6 with Georgia State, with Coastal winning four of the last five games.
• CCU is 2-4 at home versus GSU, while going 10-2 on the road.
• Coastal won the last four meetings, including sweeping the 2023 regular season series and winning in the first round of the SBC tournament.
• The Chants and Panthers first met in Atlanta, Ga., in March 2017 when Coastal joined the Sun Belt. The Chanticleers swept the series.
