Women’s Tennis to Host Lynn Stevens Memorial Invitational

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will open its 2024 fall campaign with the Lynn Stevens Memorial Invitational on Sept. 20-21. The matches will take place at the Steven Tennis Complex in Conway, S.C and play is set to begin at 9 a.m. ET on Friday.

The Chants will welcome a pair of Sun Belt Conference teams in Appalachian State and James Madison, along with a Coastal Athletic Association opponent Campbell to the beach this weekend.

Coastal returns five players from the 2023-24 roster, including graduate student Katya Hersh, seniors Nicole Abel and Anna Babayan, and sophomores Brooke Rogers and Aida Maria Mitrache.

CCU head coach Catherine Hewitt will also welcome a pair of freshmen in Brunelle Kouam and Sarah Clark, as well as a transfer junior Paula Cabrer.
