CONWAY, S.C. –  The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team posted a 13-3 record on day one of the Battle at the Beach Weekend at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

The Chanticleers kicked off the day with a round of singles play versus the College of Charleston Cougars. Coastal then faced a mixture of Campbell and CofC players in the second round of singles action since the Fighting Camels only brought a five-man roster.

• Six Chants in Juan Cruz Collardin, Iannis Fernandes, Jack Dixon, Christopher Norlin, Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda, and Rivers Cahill all went undefeated on the day.
• All three of Coastal's losses came in three-set matches.
• CCU went 7-1 versus the Cougars in the first round of singles play.
• The Chants post a 5-3 record in three set matches
• Cahill and Norlin each secured back-to-back straight sets victories.
• Coastal went 6-2 in the second round of singles play.
