CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's golf team will open the 2024-25 season as host of the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate at the Grande Dunes Golf Club on Sept. 8-10.
The Chanticleers will welcome 13 schools for the three-day tournament, including Appalachian State, Campbell, East Carolina, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, James Madison, Maryland, Old Dominion, Santa Clara, Texas El Paso, Texas State, and Western Carolina.
This season, the Coastal roster includes returners Trey Crenshaw, Ludvig Erikson, Owen Kim, Jack Lee, and Trace McDonald. Joining the returners are newcomers Max Bengtsson, Max Brud, Coleman Ferguson, and Drew Sykes.
"We are excited to kick off our 2024-25 season and also host the inaugural Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate," head coach Jacob Wilner said. "We would like to welcome Chants fans and community members to come watch the 14 teams competing at the Grande Dunes Resort."
First round play from Myrtle Beach begins Sunday at 8:00 a.m. ET, with Coastal scheduled to tee off on hole one at 8:50 a.m. ET on the par-72, 7,578-yard course.
