NORFOLK, Va. ---- Coastal Carolina women's basketball had four different players finish with double-digit points in an 80-77 victory over Old Dominion on Wednesday night inside Chartway Arena.
Savannah Brooks,
Alancia Ramsey,
Mallory Bruce and
Kristin Williams produced with double-digit scoring as Coastal improved to 12-2 on the season and 3-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
Wednesday's result marked the first home loss of the season for ODU, who moved to 11-5 on the year and 3-1 in conference action.
Coastal started the game well, jumping out to a 17-10 lead after the first quarter before Old Dominion took a 33-32 lead into halftime. ODU held onto a four-point advantage heading into the final frame before the Chants finished out the road win.
Brooks and Ramsey led the way for CCU with 17 points each while Bruce added 15. Williams added 13 while Ramsey's 11 rebounds, giving her a double-double on the night, paced the Chants on the boards.
The Chanticleer led for all but 12 minutes of action.
