CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina swept App State 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-20) on Friday night inside The HTC Center to snap a brief two-match skid and improve to 15-6 overall and 7-2 in Sun Belt play.

Junior Jalyn Stout led the Chanticleers with 12 kills, 11 assists, 10 digs, and three aces while hitting .611. The performance marked her 10th triple-double of the season and extended her NCAA career record to 44. Anna Rita added seven kills and six blocks, Emily Fowler tallied eight kills, and Ava Wallis dished out 15 assists with eight digs.

Coastal finished with 38 kills, 41 digs, and five service aces. Keionna Mackey led App State (13-7, 4-5 Sun Belt) with nine kills. MeMe Davis collected 12 digs, while Addison Heidemann and Maria Contreras Ayala combined for 24 assists.

The Chanticleers hit .281 as a team while holding the Mountaineers to .119 and out-blocking them 9-6.

QUICK SET RECAP
Set One: Coastal Carolina raced to an early 7-1 lead and never trailed. Stout and Fowler combined for six kills as the Chanticleers hit .346 and forced seven App State attack errors to take the opening frame comfortably.

Set Two: App State led 18-15 before Coastal surged late. Kills from Fowler and Rita and a key block by Fowler turned the momentum as the Chanticleers closed on a 10-5 run. Emma Van Elslande's kill from Wallis sealed the set and a 2-0 match lead.

Set Three: Coastal maintained control throughout, using early kills from Stout and Rita to build an 11-6 cushion. The Mountaineers closed within two, but Rita and Fowler answered with back-to-back kills before Rita ended the match with her eighth of the night.

NOTES
• Coastal Carolina improved to 21-7 all-time against App State and 17-4 in conference play.
• The Chanticleers posted their 10th three-set win of the season and their seventh sweep in Sun Belt play.
• Coastal has won 25 of 31 sets in conference play this season.
