Women’s Soccer Concludes Season at Arkansas State

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will wrap up the season on the road against the Arkansas State Red Wolves on Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Coastal is 3-4-8 overall and 0-1-8 in Sun Belt action.
Last time out, the Chants played to a 1-1 draw with the Marshall Thundering Herd. Tamlyn Parkes recorded her team-leading fourth goal of the season, while Olivia Goretski tallied her first assist of the year.
Coastal is currently on a seven-match tying streak, which is tied for the longest in NCAA Division I history.
The Chants' eight conference ties are also the most in Sun Belt Conference history.
This will be Coastal's final match of the season, as even a win would not provide enough points to finish among the top eight teams in the league.
The Chants have committed the second-fewest fouls in the conference with 97, trailing only Arkansas State, which has been whistled for 89.

Scouting the Opponent

The Red Wolves hold a 3-7-4 overall record and a 1-6-2 mark in Sun Belt play.
Arkansas State sits 12th in the conference standings, while Coastal is in 10th.
Kennedy Horn leads the Red Wolves with nine goals, ranking third in the Sun Belt, while Keelyn Peacock tops the squad with five assists ranking her seventh in the league.
Arkansas State's lone conference win came in a 4-1 victory over Southern Miss on Oct. 12.
The Red Wolves will look to snap a two-match losing streak after falling to Old Dominion and Georgia State.
Damaris Deschaine has been the primary goalkeeper this season, totaling 52 saves with a .732 save percentage.

History Against

Coastal holds a 5-2-0 all-time record against Arkansas State.
The Chants will look to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to the Red Wolves in October 2023.
CCU's last win in the series came in October 2021, a 1-0 shutout.
Over seven meetings, Coastal has outscored Arkansas State 14-7 and holds an even 1-1-0 record on the road.
