CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University Athletics proudly announces the fifth annual Chants Giving, a 24-hour day of giving that will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025.
This annual celebration invites alumni, fans, parents, faculty, staff, and the entire Teal Nation to rally together in support of every Chanticleer athletic program. Contributions will directly fund scholarships, facilities, student-athlete development, and sport-specific initiatives.
In honor of the fifth anniversary, CCU Athletics has set its most ambitious goal yet — raising $500,000 to further empower Chanticleer student-athletes and strengthen all 19 Division I programs.
Event Kickoff – Dec. 1, 2025
To launch this year's campaign, CCU Athletics will host a special kickoff event on Monday, Dec. 1, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the CCU Indoor Practice Facility.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet student-athletes and coaches, take photos, enjoy games, and celebrate the impact of donor support across Teal Nation.
Why Chants Giving Matters
"Chants Giving is more than a fundraising day — it's a celebration of unity and Chanticleer pride," said Kelly Moore, Chief Executive Officer of the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF).
Donors can choose to give to the CAF Impact Fund, which supports scholarships and student-athlete development, or to specific sports with designated projects. Every contribution helps build championship-caliber programs and elevate the Chanticleer experience.
Momentum from Years Past
Chants Giving has seen remarkable growth each year:
-
2024: Over 532 gifts were made — one for each CCU student-athlete.
-
Previous years: Increasing participation from alumni and fans has strengthened connections and enhanced CCU Athletics across all sports.
Now entering its fifth year, Chants Giving has become a signature tradition of Teal Nation, showcasing the power of collective support and school pride.
