CONWAY - Coastal Carolina women's basketball (6-5) starts Sun Belt play with JMU (8-4) on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on ESPN+ as well as the Chanticleer Sports Network.

- Grimes has collected two double-doubles, with 11 boards and 25 points against Gardner-Webb and 10 rebounds with 19 points against UNCG.
- In the last five games, Grimes has averaged 16.4 points per game while shooting 52% (27-52) from the field and 61% (11-18) from three.
- With 11.2 points per game this season, Grimes leads the Sun Belt in points per game for a freshman.

- Currently, Coastal ranks 15th in the country with 9.5 made three-pointers per game.
- The Chants are also ranked tied for 30th in the country with 27.0 three-point attempts per contest.
- Both Tessa Grady and Kristin Williams rank in the top-75 in the country for made three-pointers, with Grady tied for 14th (35) and Williams tied for 70th (28).
COASTAL CHAOS
- Head Coach Kevin Pederson coined the term "Coastal Chaos" prior to last season due to his philosophy of tough defense and forcing teams to be uncomfortable.
- The stats backed up the chaotic defense, as the Chants led the Sun Belt with 20.3 turnovers forced per game and ranked second in steals per game with 10.88.
- This season, Coastal ranks 34th in the country with 21.9 turnovers forced per game, and 74th with a turnover margin of 3.6.
