CONWAY, S.C. – It's a busy week for the Coastal Carolina men's tennis team as it looks to extend its three-match win streak with three key matchups. The Chanticleers will face UNCG, Elon, and SCAD in what promises to be a competitive stretch.
The week kicks off on the road in Greensboro, North Carolina, where Coastal will take on the UNCG Spartans on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. ET. The Spartans enter the match with a 3-4 overall record.
The Chants will then return home for two contests at the Stevens Tennis Complex. Coastal will face the Elon Phoenix on Feb. 28 at noon, followed by the SCAD Bees on March 2 at 2 p.m. ET. The Phoenix enter the week with a 1-5 record, while the Bees are 4-2 overall.
Leading the Chants in singles play are
Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda and
Christopher Norlin, who each boast a 4-1 record. Norlin and
Iannis Fernandes lead the team in doubles, holding a 3-0 record.
