CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team defeated the College of Charleston Cougars 5-2 in a midweek matchup in Charleston, S.C.

CCU clinched the doubles point with wins on courts No. 2 and No. 3.
The Cougars responded at the start of singles play, earning victories on courts No. 2 and No. 4.
However, the Chanticleers regained momentum, securing four straight singles wins in the No. 1, No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 positions to claim the 5-2 victory.
Coastal will return to action on March 2 for a doubleheader against UNCW and SCAD.
