Chants Set for Valspar Invitational

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team heads to Augusta, Ga., for the Valspar Invitational on March 15-16.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will consist of 36 holes on Saturday, followed by 18 holes on Sunday, with play beginning at 8 a.m. each day.

The Chanticleers will compete at Forest Hills Golf Club alongside host Augusta and several ranked opponents, including No. 23 Michigan State, No. 31 Central Florida, and No. 38 Georgia Southern. Other participating teams include Emory, Furman, Michigan, North Florida, Northern Illinois, South Florida, Texas Tech, and Yale.

In their last outing, the Chanticleers finished 13th at the Daniel Island Invitational, led by Varatkarn Kunkaew's 23rd-place finish. Kunkaew shot a 3-over 219 (74-71-74).
