Women’s Golf Heads North for City of Oaks Collegiate

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team will travel to Raleigh, N.C., for the City of Oaks Collegiate on March 21-22.

The two-day, 54-hole event will take place at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. each day. Teams will play two rounds on the par-72, 6,181-yard course Friday, followed by the final round Saturday.

Along with Coastal Carolina and host NC State, the tournament field includes Central Michigan, Old Dominion, Marshall, Georgetown, East Carolina, Western Carolina, Charlotte, Appalachian State, Elon, Richmond, Campbell, Rutgers, Boston College, UNC Greensboro, and James Madison.

Last time out, the Chanticleers finished sixth at the Valspar Invitational in Augusta, Ga., where Aoife Devaney led the team with a 15th-place finish, shooting 74-71 (+4) in a shortened two-round event due to inclement weather.
