
Women’s Tennis Sweep Louisiana in Conference Opener

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team swept the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 4-0 on Friday morning at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

- The No. 2 pairing of Aida Mitrache and Brunelle Kouam clinched the deciding match to give Coastal the doubles point.
- Kouam and Mitrache went undefeated on the day picking up the first two singles wins on court No. 4 and No. 2 respectively.
- Graduate student Katya Hersh completed the shutout winning 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 spot.
- With the win, Coastal improves to 6-3 and 1-0 in Sun Belt play.
- The Chants will return to the court on March 9 to take on Texas State at 10 a.m. ET.
