OMAHA — Coastal Carolina Baseball returns to the field at the MCWS, taking on Louisville at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday inside Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
The game will be televised by ESPN, air on the Chanticleer Sports Network and will be available on the Chanticleer Mobile App. The teams have met seven times previously, most recently in the 2002 NCAA Tournament, a 9-1 Chants win in Atlanta. The other six meetings came in Conway where CCU holds a 5-1 edge.
Entering the game, the Chants have the most wins in the country (55) and the nation's longest active winning streak (25 games). A Coastal Carolina win advances the Chants to the MCWS Championship Series..
