CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina men's tennis head coach
Chris Powers announced the signing of senior
Enzo Garutti to the 2025 fall roster on Friday.
"I knew from our first conversation that Enzo was my top choice to join the program," Powers said. "He is very hungry to prove himself at this level, and he joins a group of returners that are eager to build on last year's season in the conference."
Garutti transfers to Coastal after three seasons at Augusta University, where he was a two-time All-Peach Belt Conference first-team selection and the 2023 PBC Freshman of the Year.
The São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, native compiled a 29-24 career singles record and went 21-31 in doubles play. He helped lead Augusta to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024.
Before his collegiate career, Garutti was one of Brazil's top junior players. He was ranked No. 5 nationally in the U16 age group and captured 30 state titles, five national championships, and two South American championships.
